MoveWORK Privacy Policy

This Cookies and Privacy Policy supplements the General Terms and Conditions. Read our General Terms and Conditions.

MoveWORK Group and MoveWORK sites use cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored by your browser which allows it to store information between webpages and browser sessions.

MoveWORK uses cookies generated and used by the Site and third party cookies.

Whether you’re a visitor or a member, when you use our sites and services, we use cookies to collect certain information about you in order to:
• offer a personalised experience that suits your needs (present appropriate content, pre-fill previously entered information in future browsing sessions);
• enhance security;
• assess the use and efficiency of our websites/services.
• manage and authenticate your browsing sessions (manage your login, password, shopping cart…)
By visiting and using our website/services, you agree to cookies being placed in your browser and to this cookies policy. You can refuse or limit our cookies using the relevant setting in your browser by following the instructions in the appendix, but this may limit your ability to use our services.

1. Definition

Cookies are small text files generated by the websites that you visit, and which make it possible to store data that may be used later. This data allows you to store your information between pages, but also to analyse the way that you interact with the Website or Service.

Cookies are secure; they can only store information that is made available by the browser information previously entered in the browser by the user or which is included in page requests.

There are two different types of cookies which have different uses and content: session cookies and persistent cookies:

– session cookies contain information used in your browsing session. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser. Nothing is stored on your computer once you finish browsing.

– persistent cookies are used to store information that is used between visits. This data allows websites to recognise that you are a visitor or a returning customer and to adapt accordingly. Persistent cookies have a long-term value which is determined by the website and which can vary from a few minutes to several years.

MoveWORK both sets its own cookies (originated cookies) and also collaborates with partners who write third party cookies (cookies determined and managed by them) which are then used by advertisers on other websites to provide you with relevant and appropriate advertising based on your browsing history. These cookies do not store personal information that will enable other websites to identify you as they are based on your browsing history only.

2. Collection of cookies

As stated in the introduction, MoveWORK may place a cookie to enable optimum browsing on this website as well as improved functionality of the various interfaces and applications.

MoveWORK reserves the right to collect the public IP (Internet Protocol) address. This IP address will be collected anonymously, stored for the same duration as the cookies and will only be used for effective administration of the services offered on the website.

3. Disabling and deleting cookies

These cookies are designed to be stored for a variable period of up to 6 months, and may be read and used by MoveWORK during subsequent visits to the website.

All web browsers allow you to limit the behaviour of cookies or disable them in the settings or browser options. The steps are different for each browser, and you will find the instructions in the “Help” menu on your browser or at the end of this cookies policy.

You can also use your browser to check the cookies that are on your computer, and delete them one by one or all together.

Cookies are text files which means that you can open them and read the contents. The data contained in them is often encrypted and associated with a browsing session, which means it only makes sense to the website that wrote it.

If you disable the cookies, this may affect monitoring of your progress and use of certain features on our websites. But it will not, for example, prevent the Google Analytics code from acknowledging your visit.
